BLR Cabs grew out of S M Travels, a Bengaluru fleet operator running for over 20 years — which means a driving job here comes with steady work, not a gig that dries up after a slow week. Our dispatch desk books airport transfers, outstation drives, corporate contracts and event movements every day, across hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, Tempo Travellers and buses.

Driver FAQs

Who can apply to drive with BLR Cabs?

Anyone with a valid Indian driving licence (commercial badge preferred) and at least one year of driving experience in Bengaluru. You can join with your own vehicle or drive one of ours.

Do I need my own car?

No. Tell us if you own a sedan, SUV, tempo traveller or bus and we will attach it to our fleet; otherwise we assign you a company vehicle.

What documents will I need?

Driving licence, badge, Aadhaar, PAN and police verification — plus RC, insurance and permit if you bring your own vehicle. You upload them in the driver app after we approve your application.

How long does approval take?

Our driver team calls you within 2 working days. Once approved you get an email invite to create your driver login.

Is there any joining fee?

No. BLR Cabs never charges drivers to apply or join.
